We love our Phil and Ted.
Pros:
-The wheels are big and chunky and make it easy to wheel over even sand.
-It is slim enough to fit inside doors where a conventional double buggy would not.
-It has a few different positions which allow a new born, twins, a single child or two different sized children on board in relative comfort.
-The rain cover is thick and durable, and covers well.
-The storage underneath is sufficient as far as buggies go, though the net bag does feel a little flimsy, but it has been fine for us.
-Its 3-wheeled design (along with the chunky wheels) make it very easy to turn even with two older children in it
Cons:
-The wheels need to be pumped up every now and then, and ours seem to need to be pumped more often now than when we first got it.
-The foam grip on the handle is not very strong, and a few trips in relatives... Read more

Since then, it has been part of our little child transport fleet, with a Maclaren umbrella stroller, a Bugaboo Frog, and a Deuter Kid Comfort I, all of which we had owned for more than a year prior to our purchase of the Dash.
Our first reaction was that the build quality was just not up to the Bugaboo standards, most notably the handle was somewhat loose, and the seats seemed to not be that well thought out, especially when used in the basinnet/toddler combo. However, it worked well enough, so we kept it, and were reasonably happy with it.
After only 9 months of use (and remember, we have other strollers we use too), we found that the sewing quality on the seats, both the upper and lower, was so bad that they have just burst and begun to rip apart (we are not carrying lead weights in the thing, just an average sized infant and a toddler). Unfortunately, as we are planning ahead types, we purchased the... Read more

We live in the city so the configuration works much better than a double-wide style stroller. But the configuration has its downside - if the child in the front seat gets out first the stroller flips on the child in the lower level. The center of gravity is just completely off. Happy with the wheels. The hand break buttons need to be held down together and take significant hand strength so much that my babysitter and the grandmothers don't seem to be able to do. Just recently lots of quality issues have sprung up - the bumper bar just snapped right off. And the fabric on both the upper sling seat and lower parcel tray is tearing. I emailed the customer service dept and was told I could purchase replacement parts but was offered no assistance for installation. For the premium price of this stroller, I would expect better quality and customer service. I have had two friends that have had problems with the frames of... Read more
