Excellent stroller for twins, October 26, 2011 This review is from: Mountain Buggy Duet Double Buggy Stroller, Black/Flint (Baby Product) I have 4mth old boy/girl twins and I'm really loving this stroller. We had the baby jogger city select, and while we loved it with the car seats, it was really hard to push/turn as the kids got heavier.
Now that the kids able to sit on their own, we decided to look at other options. We were always a big fan of the side by sides but couldn't get over the size of them. The Duo was just too heavy for my wife, and the BOB Duallie was just too big. This is where the city select did great because it was light, small, BUT dealing with the car seat adaptors and seats was a pain.
When I heard about the DUET, we had to go see it. We loved the look of mountain buggy and we instantly knew that this stroller would work for us. Please note that my review is based on how well the stroller performs as advertised, and not what I think an ideal stroller should be.

It fits through the narrowest doorways and is easy to take grocery shopping, on the bus or subway and so on. I highly recommend it!

MB Duet, September 6, 2011 This review is from: Mountain Buggy Duet Double Buggy Stroller, Black/Flint (Baby Product) Being a mom, I'm a big proponent of reviews by other moms. I felt a need to write a review on the new MB duet knowing that there are a ton of people out there who are quite interested in this stroller. As a disclaimer, I chose not to purchase the stroller, so my review is based on extensive research as well as "testing" it out in the store with my toddler.
My toddler will be close to 17 months when our second is born, and I must have spent hours searching for the "perfect" double stroller (which likely doesn't exist - you always need to compromise). I previously owned a BJSC which I returned after experiencing multiple problems with both the wheels and the frame of the stroller. I wasn't too keen on repurchasing it as a double since I had so many problems with it as a single, and when I tried it as a double, I could barely make it over curbs. So...we opted that given that I'm only 5"1 and tandems are hard for me to push, we would purchase a side by side double. I currently own... Read more
