Sleeps anywhere!, February 20, 2010 By @home with four kiddos (VA, USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Phil and Ted's Sport Cocoon Baby Sleeper in Navy (Baby Product) Yes, this is expensive - but that said, our son sleeps in this in the stroller, in the bassinett, and we use it for a traveling bed anywhere and everywhere. I even use it as a safe, sanitary and convienient changing table in the car and in stores. The one thing is that you have to transfer the baby from the car seat to the cocoon - well I figured I always have to take him out anyway to change a diaper or nurse...so what's the difference? I didn't get this till my fourth child, I wish I had had it with my first. (I have a Phil & Ted's Sport and sit my toddler on top - what an awesome design! No one touches my infant or even sees him - except me!)
It has a hard bottom and sides and the top zips up and has a flap that can cover over by his face, but still allow for air - keeping him warm and happy when we are outside.
Conclusion: well work the $$

Not only is it great for in the stroller, but it a perfect portable bed. We traveled for a month when the baby was 4wks old and used the cocoon for all naps as well as bedtime. I am surprised at how often we still use it now that we are home. The cocoon is well constructed and definitely worth the money.
