The Verve offers the perfect inline solution for any family. You can start with the perfect single stroller and add the double seat when #2 comes along. It has 7 different modes of compatibility, all of which very useful as the family grows. Its the most esthetically pleasing and stylish of similar models from other companies, an easy fold with the second seat attached, and offers a great price point for all it's features.
I think if someone has issues with the wheels they just don't understand proper tire care for an air filled tire. I'm a cyclist as well as a father and have no issues when filling tires to the proper PSI rating. The front tires have suspension, and the air filled rear wheels create a smooth ride. I love how easy it is to handle and steer, effortless. The manufacturing quality of this product is well above other models. Our only issue, FedEx was a little... Read more

For my first child, I purchased the City Select thinking it would be a great option to have all the different modes for the future (I knew I'd have two children within a few years). I'm a petite person, and even with all of my weight pushing down on that stroller, I couldn't even get it up a curb with two kids in it. A friend recommended me to Phil & Teds because of its compact solution to accommodate two little ones (and can actually make it up a curb without breaking my back). I chose the Verve for its sleek look, and I can't say I've ever seen a more compact fold for a double stroller. The best part is I don't have to take off the second seat when I fold it either. I'm a City Mom at heart even though I live in Colorado, and I haven't had any issues with the wheels no matter where I take it. If they can hold up in the snow, I'm sold! I will say that the gear space was a little bit... Read more
0 of 3 people found the following review helpful: junk!, November 29, 2011 By This review is from: phil&teds Verve Stroller, Black (Baby Product) The seat construction and design is so poor that i am wondering who came up with it? We returned ours, and got the explorer instead.
a) its huge and wide, if you want a wide stroller you can get plenty double strollers and you do not need inline stroller.
b) the recline belt is attached to the seam with one row of stitches. The recline belt is responsible for holding the seat upright ... there would be no way to fix this, once it falls apart the seat will stay in reclined position.
c) Underseat bag is attached to the stroller the way that the weakest area gets the most load, it will fall apart if you put anything that weights more than 5 lb in it. d) the stroller fabric is attached to the frame by snaps!!! imagine them wear off?
e) Frame scratches easily, putting the sunhood on and off leaves awful scratch marks.
f) Brake is in the middle of the handle bar and is huge. It will be getting on the way
The only good thing i see are the solid... Read more
